1. Account Settings

I forgot my password. How can I log in?

Select Forgot Password? below the password field. Enter your email address that you usually log in with at AM-Connect. We will send you an e-mail with a link. Follow that link and you can assign a new password.

 

Can I make changes to my profile?

Sure, changes can be made to your user profile anytime. Simply enter into the edit mode by clicking on the pen icon and make the desired changes. This procedure also applies to your company profile. Note, however, notice that changes to the company profile can only be made by the admin of your company’s account.

 

Can I also take the role of a company admin?

The user that initially registered the company on the platform will automatically become the admin.

Only the company admin is authorized to make changes on the company profile. Furthermore, the admin can view, edit and take action on any content saved or published by other users of the same company, with exception of the user’s profile information. If there is a need to make changes to roles after registration, please contact us (support@am-connect.com).

 

Can I sign up with my private email?

Unfortunately, you cannot use your private email account for signing up on AM-Connect, as we are a B2B-platform and thus only allow companies to register.

 

How can I cancel my account or unsubscribe from a paid plan?

Simply send your request via email to info@am-connect.com and we will immediately set your account right away to inactive. To add security to this process, we will make sure that you actually sent the request. Therefore, one of the AM-Connect team members will give you a call you to reconfirm the request before all of your data is deleted from our platform, within 72 hours.

2. Privacy & Security

How can I change my password?

For changing your password, follow the same steps as requesting a new password. Select Forgot Password? below the password field within the login box. Enter your e-mail address that you usually log in with at AM-Connect. We will send you an email with a link. Follow that link and you can assign a new password.

 

I have received a suspicious email that looks like it came from AM-Connect, but I am in doubt. What should I do?

Please never open any link contained in emails not sent from our email server. You can identify our emails by the extension @am-connect.com. We will never reach out to you from any other email address.

We will also never request you to send any sensitive data, such as payment data or your password, via email.

If you have received a suspicious email, send it to support@am-connect.com and we will investigate the case.

 

How does AM-Connect protect my privacy and keep my information secure?

A wide range of security measures are taken to protect your personal information and transactions, such as data encryption and automatic timeouts.

 

Does AM-Connect use “Safe Browsing” (HTTPS)?

Yes, we do. Whenever you surf on our website, HTTPS appears in your browser’s address bar. This is important for staying safe on the web. HTTPS adds a basic layer of security by encrypting the data transferred between your machine and the web server. It ensures that information isn’t modified or corrupted in transit without detection.

 

Who can see my account details?

All platform users can see the information you provide in your profile. Projects and quotations in draft mode can only be seen and edited by your company’s admin.

 

Can other members of my company edit, delete or publish my quotations or projects?

Only the admin can edit and take action on content saved or published by other users of the same company, with exception to user profile information. If there is a need to make changes to roles after registration, please contact us (support@am-connect.com).

 

Can anyone except the project owner view my quotations?

By the time you create a quotation, your company’s admin can see this quotation as well as all attached documents. Other companies can not see which projects you have quoted on.

3. Subscription & Payment

Can I try AM-Connect for free?

Yes, you can! You can explore AM-Connect during a 3-month free trial. Once your free trial period is over, however, your account will be blocked. If you want to continue to use AM-Connect after your free-trial has expired, you would need to subscribe to our paid plan.

 

Which features are included?

AM-Connect offers unlimited access to all its features. Once you are registered you can use the platform without any limitations.

 

Where can I sign up for a free trial?

Go back to our landing page www.am-connect.com and click on the „Start for free“ button to join for free. You will be redirected to a secured sign up page. You only need to enter your email address and create a password. Your will receive an activation link within 24 hours by email with which you can activate your account.
